Advisor on Cyber Crime Investigations

Saša Živanović is a cybercrime combating expert with over 30 years of experience in security and law enforcement. He has been the Vice President at the Security Management Institute in Belgrade, Serbia, since April 2021, enhancing business security through innovative methods and education.

Živanović’s significant impact in cybercrime was evident during his decade-long tenure as Head of the Cyber Crime Department at Serbia’s Ministry of Interior. From 2007 to 2017, he led efforts to combat high-tech crime, collaborated with international bodies, and developed cybersecurity frameworks.

As an Assistant Professor at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade, he taught courses on IT systems, cybercrime, and digital forensics, contributing to academic advancements in cybersecurity.

Živanović actively engages in conferences and media to raise awareness on issues like identity theft and ransomware, making him a prominent figure in the fight against cybercrime.
